Founders

Dr Rotem Berman

CTO & Co-founder

Rotem brings over 20 years of experience in deep tech R&D, with specific expertise in biosensor development and deployment. She led the first-ever real-world operational deployment of biosensors—a landmine detection system developed in partnership with the Israeli Ministry of Defence and Hebrew University.

At Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, Rotem managed a multidisciplinary team across academic labs, commercial partners, and military units, taking biosensor technology from laboratory proof-of-concept to field implementation. She holds a PhD in Physics from the Technion (Israel Institute of Technology).

At Viridys, Rotem leads all technical development, from VOC target discovery through sensor design and prototype engineering.

Stuart Dixon

CEO & Co-founder

Stuart leads commercial strategy at Viridys, focused on turning biosensing innovation into scalable products. He previously spent 11 years at Goldman Sachs working on complex, capital-intensive technologies, and 7 years as an officer in the British Army leading soldiers.
