CTO & Co-founder

Rotem brings over 20 years of experience in deep tech R&D, with specific expertise in biosensor development and deployment. She led the first-ever real-world operational deployment of biosensors—a landmine detection system developed in partnership with the Israeli Ministry of Defence and Hebrew University.

At Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, Rotem managed a multidisciplinary team across academic labs, commercial partners, and military units, taking biosensor technology from laboratory proof-of-concept to field implementation. She holds a PhD in Physics from the Technion (Israel Institute of Technology).

At Viridys, Rotem leads all technical development, from VOC target discovery through sensor design and prototype engineering.

Stuart Dixon

Stuart Dixon

CEO & Co-founder

Stuart brings over a decade of experience in scaling complex, capital-intensive technologies, with a background spanning institutional finance, infrastructure and sustainable investment. He spent 11 years at Goldman Sachs as an Executive Director, managing multi-billion-pound institutional relationships and raising project finance across real assets and technology-enabled infrastructure.

Prior to his commercial career, Stuart served as a British Army officer, gaining leadership experience in high-stakes operational environments. He holds an MBA from Warwick Business School and formal training in biotechnology from the University of Sheffield, providing a strong foundation for working at the interface of deep-tech innovation and commercial execution.

At Viridys, Stuart leads commercial strategy, partnerships and company building, focusing on translating biosensing innovation into scalable products, credible routes to market and long-term commercial value.
